The City of Berkeley invites you to its 18th Annual Holocaust Remembrance Day Program, honoring Survivors and remembering all those who perished in the Holocaust. Over 10 million people were targeted for extermination by the Nazis, including 6 million Jews.
Today, hate crimes and anti-Semitic attacks around our country are on the rise. Now, especially, in light of the challenges to our democratic principles, it is vitally important to keep the memory of the Holocaust alive.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
The free program will include musicians Cookie Segelstein, violin, and Josh Horowitz, accordion; and Mike Perlmutter, clarinet, with members of the Saul Goodman Klezmer Band.
