Delirama
A new (August 2022) restaurant has opened in Berkeley featuring bialys (!) and pastrami (!).
From their website: “We know that delicious food is best served with great service, and shared with friends. We take pride in serving Pyro’s pastrami, our barrel-aged brisket is brined, smoked, and steamed in small batches thus producing superior flavor and quality. Our bread and bagels are baked fresh daily; our pizza pies are hand stretched, and our Kennebec potato chips and potato pancakes are fried to order. Everything we craft we do so with integrity, love, and care.”
San Francisco Chronicle write Elena Kadvany recommends the bagel sandwich with pastrami bacon, toasted pastrami-onion bialy, and vegan Reuben sandwich.
