Instructor Ilana Goldberg was born and raised in Berkeley, and has a great love for the Bay Area Jewish community. She has studied Yiddish with YIVO, the Yiddish Book Center curriculum, and, like many twenty-somethings, a healthy dose of DuoLingo. In 2022, Ilana taught Yiddish at Congregation Shalom in Massachusetts, while continuing her own Yiddish-learning journey. When she is not studying or teaching Yiddish, Ilana teaches Hebrew and Judaics at Beth El’s afterschool programs.

Presented by Urban Adamah.
