KAILA Klezmer Workshops, Sundays

If you have ever been to a Jewish wedding or bar/bas mitsve party and wished you could play the traditional Eastern European Jewish Music known as klezmer, then KAILA is for you! KAILA is the Klezmer Arts Institute of Los Angeles.

Led by Gustavo Bulgach (leader of the band “Klezmer Juice”), we are musicians of differing abilities and instruments, drawn together to play and learn the history, rhythms, scales and modes of klezmer music. Music changes every week and can be seen on the link in your registration confirmation email.

Come join KAILA’s bi-weekly combined Live/Zoom workshops. These are in-person at Temple Beth Am in West L.A. every other week. Currently planned are 1/26/25, 2/16/25, 3/16/25, 4/20/25, 5/18/25 at 11am Pacific Time. Although this event shows up in KlezCalifornia’s Event Directory as every Sunday, it is not.
