Lomir Zingen! Let’s Sing with the Jewish Folk Chorus of San Francisco

Join The Magnes for a special family friendly performance and sing-a-long with the Zingeray ensemble of the Jewish Folk Chorus of San Francisco.

The Zingeray ensemble of the Jewish Folk Chorus of San Francisco, now in its 97th year, will perform an afternoon program of songs with selections in Yiddish, Ladino, Russian, and Hebrew. Singing and participation will be encouraged for everyone of all ages. The Chorus has been spreading Yiddish music and culture since the 1920’s and is delighted to fill the Magnes with songs reflecting the tapestry of Jewish life — joy, struggle, justice, and peace.
