ABOUT THE ARTISTS:

Mostly Kosher is a powerhouse Klezmer-Rock band based in Los Angeles, radically reinventing Jewish and American cultural music with fiery klezmer beats, rich Yiddish refrains, and global influences of jazz, Latin, folk, and rock. Their music explores themes of social justice, resilience, and cultural celebration. Led by vocalist and clarinetist Leeav Sofer, the ensemble includes top LA musicians: Janice Mautner Markham, Eric Hagstrom, Adam Levy, Nadav Peled, and Ben Tevik. The band has captivated audiences at Disney Parks’ Festival of Holidays, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Skirball Cultural Center, as well as headlining the Ashkenaz Festival in Toronto. Highlights include a feature in the film The Accursed, and their video “Vitebsk” in film festivals worldwide.
