The afternoon will begin with a performance by Stephen Saxon, who has created a unique cycle of songs that reference traditional Jewish music in an exciting new way built around his well-known powerful bass vocal skills. This will be followed by a short humorous talk by Dr. Leeder on the expressiveness of the Yiddish language. To finish the afternoon, the San Francisco Yiddish Combo will perform a wild klezmer concert
