Queer Yiddish Camp

Queer Yiddish Camp is a two-week online Yiddish intensive from for all levels. Queer Yiddish Camp welcomes folks of all genders and sexual orientations who wish to learn in a queer-normative / queer-centering community.

Take language, literature, song, history, and culture classes from an all-queer faculty of world-renowned Yiddish teachers, scholars, artists, activists, and cultural workers! The Queer Yiddish Camp intensive is 6 days a week Sunday to Friday with two 75-minute sessions a day and over 30 hours of quality language, cultural, arts, and curated community programming! 

Queer Yiddish Camp was launched in 2021 by founding director freygl gertsovski to foster an inclusive, accessible, social-justice oriented community for queer and allied Yiddishists to learn and create new Yiddish culture in the radical traditions of our ancestors.

The full cost of the program per participant is $800. There are numerous discounts and financial aid options.
