San Francisco Jewish Film Festival

The 42nd San Francisco Jewish Film Festival (with films live and streamed) includes three films featuring Ashkenazic culture:

The Waltz (5 mins.). Featuring a Yiddish poem sung to children in the Lodz ghetto, this animated short expresses the poet’s nostalgia for his homeland and the fragility of life. Tuesday, July 26, 1pm, Albany Twin
