PERFORMING

Flute Solo or Flute and Harp for weddings, concerts, background music, or other occasions. Klezmer and other Jewish styles, classical, pop.

TEACHING

Teaches all types of Jewish and classical music for flute, piccolo, amd recorder; and music theory. Ages five to adult. Online and in person.

Has a degree in Flute Performance from New England Conservatory and studied for two years in Paris with Michel Debost under a President’s Undergraduate Fellowship from U.C., Berkeley.

LECTURING

Participatory lectures on klezmer music.

 

  • Background: Degree in Flute Performance from New England Conservatory. Recorded with Adama, Paris, France; Maxwell Street Klezmer Band, Chicago. Klezmer Flute and Harp Duo recordings broadcast on WRTI, Philadelphia. Participatory lectures in Klezmer Music for Philadelphia Flute Society and Mu Phi Epsilon. Soloist for Both Sides of Love Memorial Concert for Elaine Hoffman Watts and Yiddish Cocktails. Performed her program "A Jewish Music Potpourri" on the Community School for Music and Arts, Mountain View, Community Concerts Series. Currently member of Santa Cruz and Fremont Symphonies. Faculty, Bellarmine Preparatory School and Community School for Music and Arts, Mountain View, California; Almaden School of Music and Art, San Jose; and Veksler Academy, Sunnyvale.
