The Promiscuous World of Jewish Music:  Join Josh every Monday at 11am Pacific Time (2pm Eastern, 7pm UK, 8pm most of Europe in a series of free Zoom lectures on an array of fascinating aspects of Jewish music and dance in the world today and yesterday. The core lectures of the series were created for his class at Sonoma State University for the past five years and deal with a different topic each week. Josh also invites the world’s top scholars to present their work in order to contribute to and expand the knowledge base. The lectures use videos, historical photos and recordings, and live music combined with a Powerpoint screen share. Lectures run from 1 hour to 2 hours and are fun and informative. Donations are accepted and appreciated, but not required. Participate in a rousing Q & A or just relax and listen in the comfort of your home with a hot cup of chocolate or whatever is left in your wine rack.

Read about the upcoming Monday’s presentation in KlezCalifornia’s Event Directory every Thursday or Josh’s Facebook page.
