Klezmer at Saul’s Deli

Saul Goodman’s Klezmer Band with members of the Kehilla Klezmer Band will perform outside of Saul’s Restaurant and Delicatessen, 1475 Shattuck Avenue, Berkeley.

Saul Goodman’s Klezmer Band performs klezmer music for weddings, bar and bas mitsve parties, and all manner of concerts and celebrations around the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. Their sound draws from modern cosmopolitan surroundings while being firmly rooted in traditional Jewish folk music tracing centuries back from Eastern Europe. Featuring Mike Perlmutter (clarinet), Dan Cantrell (accordion), Ilana Sherer (violin), and Ivan Velev (tapan).

They will be joined for the last hour by members of the Kehilla Klezmer Band: Ron Cohen (trumpet), Nicole Bloom (clarinet), Sharon Grodin (accordion), and Michael Saxe-Taller (baritone horn).
